new skin for old bones:

confronted with the challenge of salvaging a mismanaged abandoned home renovation and rectifying a structural frame gone askew, we embraced the opportunity to transform this incomplete project into the epitome of a contemporary dream home. central to our vision was the sweeping panorama of the shores, now elevated as the focal point of the space. this transformation was achieved through innovative design elements such as a pocketing sliding glass wall, a bespoke glass elevator, and meticulously crafted glass kitchen cabinets. additionally, the introduction of lofty 15-foot picture windows flooded the once-dim and darkened space with an abundance of natural light, ushering in a sense of openness and tranquility. the result is a luminous hilltop sanctuary, where modern elegance merges with the surrounding landscape, inviting the residents to immerse themselves in the beauty of their surroundings.
